Sellers are responsible for shipping the items they’ve sold to buyers. Sellers must provide accurate handling times within their listings and ship products within the handling time stated in their listings. Accurate tracking numbers must also be supplied. Sellers should use the shipping service the buyer selected at checkout and not a slower service. Sellers must ship to the shipping address provided by the buyer.
If not offering free shipping, sellers should only charge fees related to the actual cost of shipping and handling, such as cost of packaging materials, cost of using a specific shipping service, and any additional costs like return receipts or signatures. Sellers must not add shipping fees when offering free shipping.
We recommend requiring a signature confirmation for orders over $100 in case the buyer communicates that they didn’t receive their item.
Buyers can see a seller’s shipping policy on the product listing page prior to making a purchase.
